“Roger Dodger!”

I just wanted to take a few moments and tell you about my reading from Anthony Quinata. I was fortunate enough to spend a few minutes with Anthony and he was kind enough to do a reading for me. We were having lunch at a restaurant with 3 other people and what he started to pick up on was a relative of mine.

He mentioned that someone was talking to him about baseball and he wanted to know who that was. None of us answered at first.

Then he mentioned that there was something about a nickname and it had to do with being smacked. Still, nobody mentioned anything.

He said that the female he was talking to has a relative named Sylvia. That is when things came together and I told him he may be picking up on one of my dead relatives.

When I was a boy I used to spend the summers down in Eads, Colorado, with my Grandmother Clara. During that time, which was around 1988, I briefly started to collect baseball cards and spent a lot of time in my grandparent’s house sorting them and putting them in binders.

The nickname thing also made sense. When I would get into trouble, my mother would sometimes spank me when I needed it. One thing that would amuse my grandmother was when my mother would be talking and using hand gestures, I would flinch sometimes. My grandmother then gave me the nickname “Roger Dodger.”

My grandmother had a few siblings and one of her sisters was named Sylvia. This is when I knew that Anthony was speaking to my grandmother. He mentioned a few things that were nice to hear, like how my grandmother loved me. He also mentioned that she was a little frustrated that I hadn’t finished college. This made me laugh because that was just like her. She used to always be on me to do better in school and go as far as I could.

Anthony also mentioned something about my mother and something she did in an almost ritualistic way. It was something that made my grandmother happy and that she wanted my mother to know how it made her feel and that she loves my mother.

A week later I spoke with my mother and asked her if any of this made sense. She told me that she prays to my grandmother every day and it is something she has done since her death in 1987.

I have known Anthony for a little over a year. I haven’t collected baseball cards for over 10 years. Nobody knows about my childhood with my grandparents and nobody knew about my mother and her prayers. It was very enlightening to experience, a reading from Anthony. It is an experience I will never forget.

Now I’m not one to read books that mediums put out because frankly, I think most of them are fake. But when my cousin said she had purchased the book and read it, I decided that I should take a look at it and see what it was all about. My curiosity got to the best of me. Let’s just say the book opened my eyes. It made me a believer in the afterlife again and in Anthony as a genuine medium. Melissa Pepples
