"I never thought I would have to bury one of my kids."

“I never thought I would have to bury one of my kids.”

The following is a heartfelt cry I’ve heard from so many parents, so I asked permission to reprint it here, along with my response.

I am thankful for many things in my life, but I must say, I never thought I would have to bury one of my kids.

Some say I am very strong, but really I have learned to hide it well.

The night god called my son home,  I gave him a huge piece of my heart to take with him.

Life without him is unbearable , We had to learn  to start a new Life without him, and it’s not easy, he was the best son any parent could dream of having, and I was so proud to call him my son, many say, well you still have 3 kids, yes I do and I love them very much but I’m supposed to have 4.

I love and miss you so much son!!! Until We reunite in heaven, save my seat for me.

Losing a child is a nightmare that I don’t think a parent ever really gets over. But I need to tell you that God didn’t “call” your son home. God isn’t the “Angel of Death.” I’ve heard the souls say, in countless sessions, that it was their time regardless of the circumstances of their passing. What God did was WELCOME your son back home.

You still do have 4 children. You have three here and one who is ALIVE in your heart. If you were doing a discernment with me, I can guarantee you that when your son came through and I asked him who he is to you, he’d say, “I’m her son.” Not, “I was her son.”

Or, “She’s my mother.” Not, “She used to be my mother.”

He might even come to me saying, “Hi mom!”

As a medium, my message is that, “Death is not the end of life, love or relationships.”

Your son is still your son, he’s still alive, and he loves you.

Grief is another way of saying, “I love you.”

Even God can’t take away your grief, but asked me to try to help you understand.

I feel your peace.

Now I’m not one to read books that mediums put out because frankly, I think most of them are fake. But when my cousin said she had purchased the book and read it, I decided that I should take a look at it and see what it was all about. My curiosity got to the best of me. Let’s just say the book opened my eyes. It made me a believer in the afterlife again and in Anthony as a genuine medium. Melissa Pepples
