"Happy Thanksgiving!" from the Other Side

“Happy Thanksgiving!” from the Other Side

I noticed a “trend,” at least in my sessions, that started about a year and a half ago.

When I’m discerning a soul I ask a number of questions –

  • What is your name?
  • How are you related to the “sitter?”
  • How did you transition?
  • What can you tell me about yourself?
  • What do you want your loved one to know?

being just a few of them. This is the “getting to know you,” part of the session from me.

What I noticed was an increasing reluctance on the part of the souls to talk about their passing. I’ll never forget the one soul who told me, “What does it matter? I was there, now I’m here.”

Since then I’ve heard things like, “I didn’t die. I just changed addresses.”

“It all came together beautifully.”

Finally, I became frustrated enough to tell one soul that his mother really needed to hear it so she’ll know it was really him. “She knows its me. Besides, talking about it will only bring up more pain.

What difference does it make how I got here? The important thing is that she remembers my life while I was there. That’s what I want her to remember. Our life together I while was there.”

As a medium I can tell you this. Your loved ones on the Other Side know that you’re missing them this holiday season, but they’d want you to remember the meaning of this particular day, “giving thanks for all we have.” They’d want you to give thanks for their life, and your life, and the lives of all your loved ones still here with you.

They want you to know that they’re giving thanks for you being a part of their lives, and that whomever they were to you in this life, they still are now. Death is not the end of life, love or relationships.

While they’re grateful for the time and lessons they learned here on earth, they’re also grateful for being back home where they’re waiting for you.

Today, the souls and I would like to suggest that as much as possible, give thanks for your life together, and their life now in a place of peace, love and joy.

Happy Thanksgiving from me, and your loved ones on the Other Side!
